Bana Ba Motlhaba – Southern Cross Education Foundation is a privately funded pre-school and primary school support program providing a new paradigm for education and engagement of disadvantaged children in Botswana.

Bana Ba Motlhaba means “Children of the Desert.” The Southern Cross is the primary constellation in the southern hemisphere, a constant in the southern sky. Bana Ba Motlhaba - Southern Cross Education Foundation embodies these two concepts as it seeks to provide a constant and guiding light for disadvantaged children.
